My Design Work

Unreleased_BothVersionsPhysicalMockup_Edited.png

Unreleased

Unreleased is a mockup for a K-Pop album by Boynextdoor. I created this for my Portfolio and Process course, where I followed Boynextdoor’s reoccurring themes and imagery to create a new K-Pop album featuring six of their unreleased songs. I used their previous albums as references. Because K-Pop albums normally come in multiple versions, I created two versions of Unreleased, as well as all of the inclusions in both albums. I used professional photographs of them, from online, in all of my work. Photographed here are physical mockups I made of both versions.

Musical Pups

Musical Pups is a case study I designed in my Visual Communication Design 3 course. It is a brand concept for a dog collar that plays music via a small speaker on the collar, for anxious pups. Along with the collar, I designed a smaller box, intended for an attachment for the collar - a heart rate monitor. To track your pups' heart rate and control the music while you're out and about, I also designed an app that would allow the pet parents to keep an eye on their pets while not home. The concept for this app is that it would connect to any music streaming service in order to play any kind of music for your pup. Playlists can be created for your pups' perfect music taste. It also shows the heart rate of your pup if you have the attachment. Lastly, I made a sticker pack that customers would recieve if they ordered the collar and the heart rate monitor together. The stickers would also be able to be purchased separately.

Let's Go See the Stars

I designed this album for my final in my first Visual Communication Design course. When I was told that I could use a combination of my favorite songs, I knew exactly which ones to use. I chose 14 of my favorite songs and compiled them in an order that I felt made sense while listening. I wanted the album to feel like nighttime driving, so I chose to use a dark color scheme. I wanted the add the chain features to give it depth. The backgrounds are photos I took that I edited on Adobe Photoshop. The rest was done on Adobe Illustrator. Designing albums is something that I love to do, so I really enjoyed this project.

Final Soul Eater Poster.png

Soul Eater Poster

This poster was created for my first Visual Communication Design course. We were told to choose a quote and design a poster for it. We were learning how to work with typography. I chose a quote from one of my favorite animes, Soul Eater. The colors I chose were sampled from a Soul Eater Poster, to match the color scheme of the show. Vector Portrait

This portrait was created in my Visual Communication Design course, where we had to recreate a photo of ourselves using only the vector tool on Adobe Illustrator. This project was really important to my knowledge of vectors on Illustrator.
